Dear Agency Owner, 

I've been in the agency business for more than 15 years, so you can bet that I've learned a few things along the way. The absolute best thing about being an entrepreneur is that you need to be a dreamer; and my dreams have kept me going all these years.

It was challenging for me to scale in the early days...so I hired coaches, consultants, business integrators, and followed several different systems. All of them helped me in the short run, but it wasn’t a long-term fix. 

A few years ago, my business coach, Steve Werner, visited my office and left me with some words that have stuck with me. While catching up and checking in, he noticed a blank 8 ft whiteboard that was usually filled with company ideas and goals. He took a marker and wrote on the board, “Never mistake activity for achievement,” a quote by John Wooden, the greatest NCAA head coach of all time.
It wasn't until that moment that I realized that everything I was doing wasn’t of EQUAL importance. As many of you know, I was and STILL am a practitioner. We sold exactly what I could do. But just because I was “high” on activity, it didn’t mean I was “high” on achievement. 

As I kept dreaming of “scaling the agency”, my time went into more campaign creation, more campaign optimization, more project management—you name it, I did more of it. 

So Steve made me do some homework; I had to write out a clear plan for what I wanted my agency to look like. Step by step I figured out the services I wanted to offer, the price points, and where I would get my leads from—I wrote down everything, I didn’t want to miss any details. After establishing my clear plan, everything else fell into place much more easily than before!

Even with such a plan, I had to add services and remove services. Hire people while removing a few we no longer needed. I had to fire clients to make room for better clients. I had to reorganize MY OWN JOB in the company. But as the plan became reality, I could see things moving in the right direction. I am a product of my own experience...
As an agency owner, if you don’t have a clear plan of action on where you’re headed or what you want your agency to look like in a YEAR, two years, or three years from now, you may never reach your goals. You don’t know if you’re even going in the right direction. Don’t let failing to plan stop you from creating the agency that you always envisioned. 

This workshop I have created will be like the day that Steve inspired me to put aside my massive to do list and focus on creating a solid plan. I promise that you will be challenged. It will force you to think hard about what you expect for your agency. I am pumped to share my own personal framework for gaining #Momentum in our business.
