It wasn't until that moment that I realized that everything I was doing wasn’t of EQUAL importance. As many of you know, I was and STILL am a practitioner. We sold exactly what I could do. But just because I was “high” on activity, it didn’t mean I was “high” on achievement.
As I kept dreaming of “scaling the agency”, my time went into more campaign creation, more campaign optimization, more project management—you name it, I did more of it.
So Steve made me do some homework; I had to write out a clear plan for what I wanted my agency to look like. Step by step I figured out the services I wanted to offer, the price points, and where I would get my leads from—I wrote down everything, I didn’t want to miss any details. After establishing my clear plan, everything else fell into place much more easily than before!
Even with such a plan, I had to add services and remove services. Hire people while removing a few we no longer needed. I had to fire clients to make room for better clients. I had to reorganize MY OWN JOB in the company. But as the plan became reality, I could see things moving in the right direction. I am a product of my own experience...
